The Sequim in Bloom committee is comprised of the City Clerk, Public Works Director, local citizens, Sequim-Dungeness Chamber of Commerce, Sequim Marketing Action Committee coordinator, businesses and service clubs interested in promoting community beautification. The Sequim in Bloom committee works with businesses and residents on joint beautification projects. The Sequim in Bloom committee has organized an awards program. This program recognizes those individuals who have shown creativity and pride in the exterior of their home or business. For more information on this award program, click here.

Board of Adjustment is comprised of five members, all of who shall be residents within the city's urban growth area. Each appointee serves a three-year term. This board is established to hear and decide appeals from orders, recommendations, permits, decisions or determinations made by a City Official in the administration or enforcement of the provisions of the zoning ordinance or other land use regulatory ordinances as the city may adopt.

Citizen's Park Advisory Board consists of nine members, all of who shall be residents within the city's urban growth area. Each appointee serves a three-year term. This board is entrusted with the responsibilities of advising and making recommendations to the City Council for the acquisition, control, improvement, beautification and planning of all public squares and parks of the City and all City recreations facilities.

The Civil Service Commission consists of three members who are appointed to six-year terms by the City Council. The commission is established to exercise the powers and perform the duties established by state law in connection with the selection, appointment and employment of the Sequim Police Department.

Planning Commission consists of seven members to be appointed by the City Council. The Planning Commission serves as the Planning Agency for the city. This commission reviews and approves land use applications as authorized by Ordinance and makes recommendations to the City Council, as necessary. The terms of appointment are four years. The Planning Commission meets at the Sequim Community Center on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Sequim Speaks is a committee that is currently in the process of forming, and is now accepting applications for membership. To find out more about Sequim Speaks please read the Fact Sheet. The Sequim Speaks community area will be divided into four major quadrants which are identified within this map.

Utility Task Force consists of two council members and the City Manager. It is the duty of this task force to assist and advise the city on utility rates to ensure they are sufficient to fund the obligations of the utilities and to ensure that the costs are distributed in the most equitable manner possible. Utilities revenue issues to be addressed relate to the water, sewer and refuse collection utilities.
