Code Compliance
The City of Sequim is revising the Sign Code and is requesting public input. Public input is vital in crafting an ordinance that respects business and residential needs without jeopardizing the natural beauty of our city. Please keep in mind that the Sign Code applies to businesses and residents.
Below is a series of questions regarding temporary and portable sign placement within the City. Portable signs are those that are easily moveable and not secured to the ground. Temporary signs are those signs intended to be displayed for a limited duration and usually for a specific purpose.
There will be changes made to the Sign Code that are not addressed in these questions. Staff encourages additional public input at Planning Commission meetings and City Council meetings.
