Solid Waste
The Public Works Department no longer provides Solid Waste services for the City of Sequim. However, it is still the responsibility of the Public Works Department to provide a clean and safe environment for the Citizens of Sequim. All solid waste (garbage) is collected by D.M. Disposal. Yard Waste:
The City of Sequim will NO LONGER accept yard waste. Yard waste is now being collected by D.M. Disposal at your curbside. Contact D.M. Disposal for information at (360) 452-7278.
The City of Sequim will accept oil and car batteries at no charge at the City Shop, 169 West Hemlock Street Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We cannot accept gas or antifreeze.
Special Events - Spring Cleanup:
The City provides a special event, to assist our citizens with trash, solid waste and hazardous waste.
Our annual spring clean-up during the month of April. The City provides to the residents of Sequim the opportunity to dispose of trash, tires and other items that have collected around your home or garage, free of charge. This event will be held on a weekend in April, with the actual date published beforehand.
Please Note: Residents must drop the items off at the City Shop. They will
not be picked up by the City.

The Moderate Risk Waste Facility for household hazardous waste is open 2 days a week and is open to all county residents to dispose of household hazardous waste. For more information about yard waste disposal, please refer to the DEX phone book under the "Recycling and Garbage Guide".
